My current research interests include: Smart homes, Load Frequency Control, Demand Side Management, utilization of storage systems in microgrids, implementing Demand Response for future smart grids, coordinated control of renewable energy resources and studying the challenges of electrifying the UAE with Nuclear power, solar systems, and smart metering devices
