Selection criteria

  • Members

    • PhD in the science, health sciences and engineering and/or technology fields or equivalent years of experience
    • Field-Weighted Citation Impact ≥ 0.4
    • Normally scopus h index ≥ 20
    • Shows community engagement and development
    • Members are considered subject matter experts within their field by their peers
    • iUAE ≥ 5%.
    • 4-year membership

  • Honorary Member

    • A significant contribution and impact in scientific fields.
    • Could include non-scientists
    • Honorary members are not restricted to UAE residents

Start nominations and submit membership applications
Completion of 1st selection phase
Evaluation of applications by the selection committee
Submission of recommended nominations to the Emirates Scientist Council
Announcement of new members
